🔐 Privacy policy
For newsletter subscribers
If you subscribe to the Product in Practice newsletter, then I store your email in Substack. Substack also maintains a log of your activity, including every time you receive an email and whether or not you open it. I use this data to understand the open rate of emails and to troubleshoot deliverability or metrics issues.
Currently the only type of email I send through Substack are blog posts that cover a wide range of product topics such as product strategy and cross-functional relationships. I do not advertise through the newsletter, nor do I at any time sell your email data to third-party providers.
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by clicking the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of each email; or, by changing your email preferences directly in Substack.
For coaching clients
If you are a prospective or current coaching client, I may keep my notes on our conversations – whether an initial consultation or subsequent coaching sessions – in an organizational system like Notion or Google Drive. I may also store any materials you share with me, such as presentations or documents, in these same systems.
Sessions are conducted over the phone or over Zoom; I do not record sessions.
For everyone
As with newsletter subscribers, I do not sell your data to a third-party. If at any time your would like any data I collect on you to be deleted, I will do so to the extent to which I am able.
I encourage you to contact me via email with any questions or concerns.
